Lorrysafe is designed to restrain an operator and prevent impact with the ground,
thereby reducing the risk of serious injury from the effects of a fall.

Lorrysafe comprises two, spaced apart, upright posts.

A cantilevered arm extends laterally from these posts having suspended between them a tensioned support wire. A trolley is mounted onto the support wire(s) to allow movement along its length. A safety harness is suspended from the trolley.

The two upright posts can be bolted to preformed foundations or attached to the specifically
designed surface mounted counter weights.

In use, a lorry is driven between the support posts for loading / unloading purposes. An operator wearing a harness, will clip onto the inertia reel and climb onto the flat bed of the lorry. He will then be able to move along the lorry between the posts with virtually complete freedom in order that he can perform
his operations without hindrance.

Should he fall off the bed of the lorry, then the inertia fall arrest reel will operate to
prevent him hitting the ground.

The twin cables will allow for access to two lorries at a time, subject to specific siting of
lorrysafe by our fully qualified engineers.

Training can be provided for operatives in pre-use checks and how to use the personal protective equipment.

A maintenance agreement can also be arranged.
